(Thursday, January 25, 1973) — Former U.S. president Lyndon B. Johnson was laid to rest today in the Stonewall, Texas ranch, cemetery where his family members have been buried for three-quarters of a century.

Johnson, 64, was fatally stricken Jan. 22, 1973, at his ranch house a quarter mile from the cemetery where he was buried.
