(Tuesday, March 3, 1964) — The Beach Boys today recorded a German-language version of “In My Room” at Western Recorders studio in Hollywood, inspired by The Beatles’ decision to record German-language versions of their hits “She Loves You” and “I Want To Hold Your Hand.” “Ganz Allein” would, however, go unreleased for 19 years.
