Video: 'La beatlemanie déferle sur Montréal' (airport arrival at 0:00-1:00)

(Tuesday, September 8, 1964, 2:24 p.m. EDT) — The Beatles arrived at Dorval airport in Montreal this afternoon to begin the band’s 16th stop of it’s first full North American Tour. In spite of an awful storm, 5 000 fans are waiting for them at the airport, most of them girls, along with 120 officers from the RCMP.
