(Sunday, September 19, 2004, 8:00 p.m. EDT) — HBO’s Angels in America dominated the 56th Primetime Emmy Awards tonight, winning seven awards, including Outstanding Miniseries.

HBO’s The Sopranos won four awards, including Outstanding Drama Series and Fox’s Arrested Development took home three awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series.

Ceremonies at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles were hosted by Garry Shandling.
