(Wednesday, June 16, 1965) — Bob Dylan recorded the song “Like A Rolling Stone” at Columbia Studio A at 799 Seventh Avenue in New York City. In 2004 and again in 2011, Rolling Stone magazine picked “Like a Rolling Stone” as number one on its list of “The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.”

(Thursday, June 16, 1955)Lady and the Tramp, an animated romantic musical comedy film produced by Walt Disney about the adventures of an American Cocker Spaniel named Lady who lives with a refined, upper-middle-class family, and a male stray mutt named Tramp, premiered today at the State-Lake theater in Chicago.

Directed by Clyde Geronimi, Wilfred Jackson and Hamilton Luske, the film starred Peggy Lee, Barbara Luddy, Larry Roberts, Verna Felton, Bill Thompson and Bill Baucom.
