(Tuesday, June 22, 1965)What’s New Pussycat?, a comedy film about a fashion editor who seeks psychiatric help when he can’t stop beautiful women from pursuing him, opened today at the Astor and Trans-Lux East Theaters in New York City.

Directed by Clive Donner and Richard Talmadge (go-kart sequence, the film starred Peter Sellers, Peter O’Toole, Romy Schneider, Capucine, Paula Prentiss, Woody Allen (his film debut in his first produced script) and Ursula Andress.
