‘Hannah and Her Sisters’ released in U.S. theaters 30 years ago today (Feb 7 1986)

(Friday, February 7, 1986)Hannah and Her Sisters, a comedy-drama film about three sisters who deal with their tangled relationships amidst the wonders of New York City, opened today in 54 theaters across the U.S. (the premiere took place Jan. 16, 1986, at the UA Coronet Theater in Los Angeles).

Directed by Woody Allen, the film starred Allen, Michael Caine, Mia Farrow, Carrie Fisher, Barbara Hershey, Lloyd Nolan, Maureen O’Sullivan, Daniel Stern, Max von Sydow and Dianne Wiest.
