(Sunday, January 15, 1967, 8:00-9:00 p.m. EST) — The Rolling Stones performed “Ruby Tuesday” and a censored version of “Let’s Spend The Night Together” (Mick Jagger sang “let’s spend some TIME together”) on tonight’s CBS television variety show The Ed Sullivan Show live from CBS Studio No. 50 in New York City.

The Muppets also performed during the hour as Kermit the Frog played the piano while a couple of Muppet Monsters danced to it.
