Video: 'trial of John Demjanjuk'

(Monday February 16, 1987) — John Demjanjuk went on trial today in Jerusalem, accused of being “Ivan the Terrible,” a guard at the Treblinka Nazi concentration camp during The Holocaust.

Demjanjuk was accused of committing murder and acts of extraordinarily savage violence against camp prisoners during 1942–43.
