(Thursday, June 15, 1967, 7:00 p.m.-midnight PDT) — The Monkees completed recording a second version of “Words” today at RCA Victor Studio C in Hollywood.

With recording begun on June 14, 1967, “Words” was the fourth of 13 tracks to be completed for the group’s next studio album Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd and became the B-side of the band’s fourth American single (released July 10, 1967).
