(Thursday, December 17, 1987) — Good Morning, Vietnam, an American comedy-drama war film about a military DJ in Vietnam who risks his career to broadcast the truth, premiered today at Cineramadome Theater in Los Angeles, California.

Directed by Barry Levinson, the film starred Robin Williams and Forest Whitaker.
