(Monday, January 22, 1968, 8:00-9:00 p.m. EST) — Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In, an American fast-paced sketch comedy television program starring Dan Rowan and Dick Martin, premiered tonight on NBC as a weekly series.

Laugh-In originally aired as a one-time special on Sept. 9, 1967, but was such a success that it was brought back this night as a regular series.
