(Monday, February 19, 1968, 8:15 a.m. IST) — Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr of The Beatles arrived today at Palam Airport in New Delhi, India, to study Transcendental Meditation with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi at his ashram in Rishikesh.

McCartney and Starr, the latter suffering pain in his arm following inoculation injections, would stay the night in Delhi before joining the two other members of the group, George Harrison and John Lennon, who had arrived at Rishikesh on Feb. 16, 1968.
