(Wednesday, November 26, 1941, 11 days before the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor) — U.S. Secretary of State Cordell Hull late today presented Japanese Ambassador Kichisaburo Nomura and special Japanese envoy Saburo Kurusu with the Hull note, which as one of its conditions demanded the complete withdrawal of all Japanese troops from French Indochina and China.
