(Monday, July 1, 1963, 5:00 p.m.-10:45 p.m. BST) –Fresh off the success of their second #1 single “From Me To You”, the rock band from Liverpool, England, The Beatles, recorded their fourth single, “She Loves You” and “I’ll Get You” today at EMI Studio 2 in London for release in Britain on Aug. 23, 1963 (it was released in the U.S. on Sep. 16, 1963).
