‘Manhattan Murder Mystery’ released in U.S. 20 years ago today (1993)

(Wednesday, August 18, 1993)Manhattan Murder Mystery, a comedy murder mystery film about a middle-aged couple that suspects foul play when their neighbor’s wife suddenly drops dead, opened today in U.S. theaters.

Directed by Woody Allen, the film starred Allen, Diane Keaton, Anjelica Huston and Alan Alda. It was Keaton’s ninth and final (to date) appearance in a Woody Allen film (1971-1993).

James Meredith becomes first black student to graduate from Ole Miss 50 years ago today (1963)
