‘She Loves You’ by The Beatles peaks at #1 in USA 50 years ago today (Mar 21 1964)

(Saturday, March 21, 1964)“She Loves You” by The Beatles peaked at #2 on today’s Billboard‘s Hot 100 singles chart for two weeks (March 21/28, 1964). It was the group’s second of a record (that still stands 50 years later) of 20 number one hits on the chart (1964-1970). In November 2004, Rolling Stone ranked “She Loves You” number 64 on their list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
