‘Speed’ premieres released in USA 20 years ago today (June 10 1994)

(Friday, June 10, 1994)Speed, an action film about a morally ambivalent cop who must remove a bomb planted under a bus that’s triggered to explode when its speed drops below 50 mph, was released today in U.S. and Canadian theaters.

Directed by Jan de Bont, the film starred Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock, Dennis Hopper, Joe Morton and Jeff Daniels.
