(Monday, April 21, 1975) — Former Beatle George Harrison began recording the basic tracks for the new songs for his sixth solo studio album Extra Texture (Read All About It) today at A&M Studios in Los Angeles, beginning with “Tired of Midnight Blue” and “The Answer’s at the End.” Recording of the basic tracks continued through May 7, 1975, with overdubs laid down between May 31-June 9, 1975.
