’Deep Throat’ provides explosive information about White House plan to subvert elections 40 years ago this hour (1972)

Mark Felt, referred to as “Deep Throat” at this time) in the underground parking garage in Roslyn, Virginia. Felt tells Woodward that employees of the committee to re-elect President Nixon were not only the behind the Watergate break-in but are also deeply involved in all kinds of political sabotage against Nixon’s enemies.
