(Sunday, June 30, 1963, second show scheduled to begin at 8:15 p.m. British Summer Time) — The Beatles were filmed in concert tonight at ABC Cinema on Regent Road in Great Yarmouth, England, by Italian TV station RAI after being interviewed backstage after the first show.

This was the first of a 10-week series of seaside dates for The Beatles. The compere on this evening was Ted Rogers, and four other acts accompanied The Beatles on the bill: The Brook Brothers, The Terry Young Combo, Erkey Grant, and Tommy Wallis and Beryl.

The first show began at 6:00 p.m. BST, with The Terry Young Combo and The Brook Brothers. Following an interval The Terry Young Combo returned, followed by the novelty act Tommy Wallis and Beryl, before The Beatles closed the show, performing 11 songs.

In their dressing room after the first show, The Beatles were interviewed by Gianni Bisiach, a reporter from the Italian TV station RAI for broadcast on Dec. 23, 1963.

The second show started at 8:15 p.m. BST, and the crew from RAI filmed The Beatles from the cinema balcony.

Afterward, The Beatles drove back to London, before recording “She Loves You” and “I’ll Get You” at EMI Studios the following day.
