(Tuesday September 3, 1963, 8:00-10:30 p.m. British Summer Time) — The Beatles began recording the third of the final three episodes of the BBC Light Programme Pop Go The Beatles tonight at Studio 2, Aeolian Hall in London.

For this episode, the 15th and last, the rock music group from Liverpool, England, recorded “Ask Me Why,” “Devil In Her Heart,” “I Saw Her Standing There,” “Sure To Fall (In Love With You)” and “Twist And Shout” for broadcast on Sept. 24, 1963, at 5:00 p.m. (the version of “She Loves You” heard in this episode was a rebroadcast from episode #13, recorded earlier on the day).
