(Monday, September 24, 1973) — Ex-Beatle Ringo Starr released “Photograph“/”Down and Out” in the U.S. today, the lead single from his first solo rock music album Ringo (released Nov. 2, 1973, in the U.S.).

Starr co-wrote “Photograph” with George Harrison, his former bandmate from the Beatles. Although they collaborated on other songs, it is the only one officially credited to the pair.
