(Tuesday, December 17, 1963, 3:00-6:30 p.m. GMT) — The Beatles performed six songs for the 1963 Christmas edition of the BBC radio show Saturday Club today at the Playhouse Theatre in London, for airing on Dec. 21, 1963, at 10 a.m.

The Beatles performed “This Boy,” “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” “Till There Was You,” and “Roll Over Beethoven.”

The program also featured the official studio recording of “All My Loving” and a re-broadcast of “She Loves You” from Sept. 7, 1963.

They also performed a “Chrimble Medley,” comprising “Love Me Do,” “Please Please Me,” “From Me To You,” “She Loves You,” “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” and “Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer,” all of which lasted just 29 seconds, and sang a pastiche of Dora Bryan’s seasonal hit “All I Want For Christmas Is A Beatle,” adapting the words to “All I Want For Christmas Is A Bottle.”
