(Thursday, June 11, 1964, 2:35 a.m. ACST) — The Beatles flew from Hong Kong to Sydney today, stopping en route in Darwin to refuel. Although it was an unscheduled stop, 400 fans were waiting as they landed in Darwin at 2:35 a.m., where they were interviewed by John Edwards.
