(Tuesday, August 18, 1964, 2:05 p.m. CST) — The Beatles, flying from London to San Francisco via Los Angeles for their first full tour of the U.S., arrived at Winnipeg International Airport this afternoon for refueling and a brief wave to some 2,000 waiting fans. They were also interviewed by Channel 7’s Bob Burns.
