(Friday, December 3, 1965, 6:15 p.m. GMT) — The Beatles began a 10-day, nine-venue, eight-city tour of the UK today with two shows at the Odeon Cinema in Glasgow, Scotland.

Although not known at the time, it turned out to be the band’s final tour of their homeland.

The Beatles performed: I Feel Fine, She’s A Woman, If I Needed Someone, Act Naturally, Nowhere Man, Baby’s In Black, Help!, We Can Work It Out, Yesterday, Day Tripper and I’m Down.
