(Wednesday, July 14, 1986, evening PDT) — Aliens, a science fiction action horror film that follows Ellen Ripley as she returns to the planet where her crew encountered the hostile Alien creature, this time accompanied by a unit of space marines, premiered tonight at Avco Centre Cinemas in Westwood, California.

Directed by James Cameron, the film starred Sigourney Weaver.
