(Saturday, August 5, 1916)Intolerance, an epic silent film featuring four stories from different eras intertwined to depict man’s inhumanity to man, was previewed today in Riverside, California.

Directed by D. W. Griffith, the film starred Vera Lewis, Ralph Lewis, Mae Marsh, Robert Harron, Constance Talmadge, Lillian Gish, Josephine Crowell, Margery Wilson, Frank Bennett, Elmer Clifton, Miriam Cooperand and Alfred Paget.
