(Tuesday, December 13, 1966) — The Rolling Stones completed recording sessions for their fifth British studio album Between the Buttons today at Olympic Studios in London.

In 2012, the American version of Between the Buttons, which included “Ruby Tuesday” and “Let’s Spend the Night Together,” was ranked #357 on Rolling Stone magazine’s “500 Greatest Albums of All Time.”
