(Tuesday, March 7, 1967, 12:30-5:30 p.m./6:00 p.m.-2:00 a.m. PST)The Monkees began recording “Forget That Girl” and attempted “Where Has It All Gone” today at Studio C, RCA Recording Studios in Hollywood during the group’s recording sessions for the album Headquarters.

The band also jammed to “Memphis Tennessee” and a 12-string guitar improvisation later titled “Twelve-String Improvisation.”
