(Wednesday, July 19, 1967) — The Rolling Stones recorded “We Love You” today at Olympic Sound Studios in London for their next album, Their Satanic Majesties Request, with John Lennon and Paul McCartney of The Beatles contributing backing vocals, handclaps and percussion (tambourine and maracas respectively).

Earlier in the day, all four members of The Beatles met in London to discuss the Magical Mystery Tour film project, and their plans to purchase an island hideaway in Greece.
