(Sunday, December 1, 1991, 6:00 p.m. Japan Standard Time; during George Harrison–Eric Clapton 1991 Japanese Tour) — Rock legends George Harrison, a former Beatle, and Eric Clapton opened a 12-date tour of Japan tonight at The Yokohama Arena in Yokohama.

The tour featured mostly Harrison’s performances as a lead artist with Clapton taking the lead role in the middle of the shows for four songs. It wrapped up Dec. 17, 1991, with a third show in four days at Tokyo Dome.

This turned out to be the second and last solo tour of Harrison’s career. Recordings of performances from this tour were released on Harrison’s 1992 album Live in Japan.
