(Wednesday August 9, 1967, 7:30 p.m.-11:30 p.m. PDT) — While The Monkees performed at Memorial Auditorium in Dallas, Texas, two of the band’s studio recordings were completed tonight with overdubs added to “She Hangs Out” (brass) and “Daydream Believer” (brass/violins) at RCA Victor Studio A in Hollywood.

“She Hangs Out” would be featured on the group’s next studio album Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd (released Nov. 6, 1967) and “Daydream Believer” became the A-side of the band’s fifth American single (released Oct. 25, 1967).
