(Thursday, September 7, 1967) — The Rolling Stones completed another round of recordings for their next album, Their Satanic Majesties Request today at Olympic Sound Studios in London, having completed “Gomper” and “2000 Light Years from Home.”

The band would resume recording sessions for the album on Oct. 2, 1967.
