(Saturday, December 10, 1977) — Paul McCartney and Wings recorded an appearance for the Dec. 25, 1977, edition of the BBC1 variety show The Mike Yarwood Christmas Show today at BBC Television Studios in London.

The group performed in a comedy sketch with Yarwood and later, mimed a version of their British smash hit single “Mull of Kintyre” backed by The Campbeltown Pipes Band.
