(Saturday, January 22, 1972)Wild Life, the debut album by Paul McCartney’s new post-Beatles British–American rock band Wings, peaked at #10 on today’s Billboard Top LP’s chart for two consecutive weeks.

The album was recorded from July 24 to Oct. 16, 1971, at EMI Studios in London by McCartney, his wife Linda, session drummer Denny Seiwell, whom they had worked with on the McCartney’s previous album Ram, and guitarist Denny Laine, formerly of the English rock band the Moody Blues.
