Video: Album Of The Year awarded

(Wednesday, February 24, 1982, 9:00 p.m. EST) — Double Fantasy, the album by the late John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono, and Bette Davis Eyes, Kim Carnes’ scratchy voiced single, won top honors tonight at the 24th Grammy Awards at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

The biggest winner was Quincy Jones, who took home five awards for his own album The Dude and the album of Lena Horne’s one-woman Broadway show.
