(Saturday, November 17, 1962) — Washington Dulles International Airport, which serves the Baltimore-Washington-Northern Virginia metropolitan area centered on the District of Columbia, was dedicated today by President John F. Kennedy. It was named after John Foster Dulles, Secretary of State under former President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
