(Sunday, February 1, 2004) — Justin Timberlake ripped Janet Jackson’s top during the Super Bowl halftime show tonight and exposed her breast in what was described as a “wardrobe malfunction” that prompted a $550,000 FCC fine against CBS.

The fine was later thrown out by the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals — twice.
