(Saturday, February 8, 1964) — Beatle George Harrison, suffering from a streptococcal sore throat and resting at New York’s Plaza Hotel, was interviewed today via telephone by newsman Ed Rudy. The interview later appeared on Rudy’s documentary LP of the group’s U.S. visit.

Harrison was also interviewed by Jack Diamond at WSPR-AM in Springfield, Massachusetts (click here to listen to an audio clip/promo from this date).
