Directed by Quentin Tarantino, the film starred John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Amanda Plummer, Maria de Medeiros, Ving Rhames, Eric Stoltz, Rosanna Arquette, Christopher Walken and Bruce Willis.

Wright on the western edge of the Mule Shoe (a prominent salient) in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, which became known as the “Bloody Angle,” involved almost 24 hours of desperate hand-to-hand fighting, some of the most intense of the Civil War.
