‘Les Diaboliques’ released in France 60 years ago today (Jan 29 1955)

(Saturday, January 29, 1955)Les Diaboliques, a French black-and-white psychological thriller feature film about a cruel man’s wife and lover who plot to kill him, was released today in France.

Directed by Henri-Georges Clouzot, the film starred Simone Signoret, Véra Clouzot, Paul Meurisse and Charles Vanel.
