Video: 'Popular The Purple Rose of Cairo Videos'

(Friday, March 1, 1985) — The Purple Rose of Cairo, a romantic fantasy comedy film about a movie character who steps off the screen and into the life of his biggest fan, opened today in three North American theaters, including the Beekman Theater in New York City.

Directed by Woody Allen, the film starred Mia Farrow, Jeff Daniels and Danny Aiello.
