(Friday, July 2, 1965) — The Beatles attended a reception today at Hotel Phoenix in Madried in which they each autographed a cask of sherry just hours before the band’s 14th of 15 concerts of their 1965 European Tour at Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas.

The group was also interviewed by Graham Webb of Radio Caroline here at Hotel Phoenix, probably during the sherry-drinking session.
