Video: 'Death of a Salesman (1984)'

(Sunday, September 15, 1985, 8:00 p.m. EDT) — Death of a Salesman, a made-for-television film about a an aging traveling salesman who recognizes the emptiness of his life and tries to fix it, premiered tonight on CBS.

Based on the 1949 play of the same name by Arthur Miller, it was directed by Volker Schlöndorff and starred Dustin Hoffman, Kate Reid, John Malkovich, Stephen Lang and Charles Durning.
