(Friday, December 8, 1995, evening EST) — 12 Monkeys, a crime film about a convict of the future who is sent back in time to gather information about the man-made virus that wiped out most of the human population on the planet, premiered tonight at Gotham Cinema in New York City.
Directed by Terry Gilliam, the film starred Bruce Willis, Madeleine Stowe, Brad Pitt, Christopher Plummer and David Morse.
