(Friday, June 20, 1986, evening BST) — At the Prince’s Trust 10th Birthday Party Concert tonight at the Wembley Arena in London, in front of Prince Charles and the Princess of Wales, former Beatle Paul Mcartney performed three songs, backed by an all-star line-up that included Phil Collins, Mark King (of Level 42), John Illsley and Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits), Ray Cooper, Howard Jones, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Midge Ure, Bryan Adams and Tina Turner.
