Video: 'Tupac Shakur - Last Hours'
(Friday, September 13, 1996, 4:03 p.m. PDT) — Tupac Shakur (born Lesane Parish Crooks), a rapper and actor who built a career on controversy, died today at University Medical Center in Las Vegas of wounds from a drive-by shooting Sept. 7, 1996, while he was leaving the Mike Tyson-Bruce Seldon prizefight. He was 25 years old.
The murder remains officially unsolved.
