(Monday, April 10, 1967) — Paul McCartney of The Beatles was filmed today hanging out at the swimming pool of former press officer Derek Taylor and shopping at the Century Square Center in Los Angeles.

In the afternoon, McCartney visited John and Michelle Phillips of The Mamas And The Papas and then joined The Beach Boys in the recording studio, contributing to the tracks “Vegetables” and “On Top Of Old Smokey.”

McCartney departed Los Angeles the following day, arriving back in London on Apr. 12, 1967.
